Let’s get cookin’!
Melt your chocolate! This is one of those recipes where you can measure how much chocolate you want to use with your heart. After making these, I would have honestly used more chocolate than I did, so go for it! You can use any kind of chocolate, as long as it is able to melt. Place your chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 20 second increments until fully melted. While it is melting, move onto the next steps!
Cut your strawberries. While you wait for your chocolate to melt, rinse off your strawberries and cut them into bite sized pieces. I usually cut off the stem, and just cut them in half once. If you are using bigger strawberries, you way want to cut these halves in half again! Place the cut strawberries onto a plate when finished.
Layer on your yogurt! Once you have your strawberries laid onto a plate, cut-side up, it is time to add the yogurt! I have found that the easiest way to do this is to scoop a small amount onto a spoon and add a little dollop onto the strawberry. Continue until all are completed!
Chocolate time! At this point, your chocolate should be melted and ready to go! Use a spoon or a fork and drizzle on as much chocolate as you please. To really taste the chocolate, use much more than I did above!
Freeze and let sit. The next part is definitely the hardest part; the waiting. Pop them into the freezer and wait about 1-2 hours to remove. After that, you will want to let them sit for about 20-30 minutes in room temperature to enjoy. This sounds strange, but trust me, they are way to hard to bite into at first and will for sure give you a brain freeze! This waiting time allows for these yogurt bites to become the perfect amount of crunch and coldness that you are looking for.
Enjoy! Finally, you get to enjoy! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do :)
